Today as I nervously walked into the Channel 9 studios, I had one intention in mind.

To use this incredible opportunity to be a voice for our hard-working and professional educators.

I am grateful to the TODAY show team for their willingness to have a panel discussion about the real challenges educators are facing as they work day in and day out to support our young people to learn and thrive.

Thank you to Greg Elliott and Bernadette Haddad for contributing to this important conversation.

This month I made the deliberate choice to release the pressure in my daily life and to create space for magic.

And.. I am thrilled to announce that tomorrow morning along with a panel of big-hearted humans, I will be on the TODAY show couch with @karlstefanovic_ and @sarahabo discussing teacher burnout and ways we can support our hard working and professional teachers.

It’s my first invitation to be a guest on the show and I am grateful that I have had the headspace to prepare as best as I can.

I am feeling excited, nervous and ready to contribute to this important conversation.

Update: The segment was postponed due to breaking news and will now be Wednesday 15th March at 7:40am.

It’s my birthday and I am so grateful to be celebrating my 37th lap around the sun.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the gift of life and what a privilege it is to be surrounded by family and friends that are there for me in the good times and in the bad.

This is a wonderful chapter in my life and it lights me up to know that what I share has is having a positive impact in homes, schools and the wider community.

Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement - I couldn’t do it without you!
