Aspire Together & From Framework to Everyday Action | Episode 143

Schools are complex places filled with competing demands, high expectations and constant change. But at the heart of every school are the big-hearted humans who teach, lead, support and care for others every single day.

In this episode, I’m joined by Dr Sue Roffey, a global leader in education, psychology and school culture, to explore how we can create school communities where both staff and students have the opportunity to thrive.

What you’ll learn in this episode

  • The deep connection between teacher and student wellbeing.
  • Why investing in staff is essential to helping students thrive.
  • The six ASPIRE principles: Agency, Safety, Positivity, Inclusion, Respect and Equity.
  • What it looks like to move beyond tokenistic wellbeing efforts to lasting cultural change.
  • How small relational moments can have a powerful impact
