A thinking trap we fall into is assuming that others “know” what we are thinking.

That the people we live and work with “should” act in ways that align with our often unexpressed expectations.

Learning how to clearly articulate our needs is a skill that can transform our relationships.

In episode 41 of The School of Wellbeing Podcast, I have the joy of chatting with psychotherapist Allison Heiliczer.

Allison is an experienced couples therapist with a passion for helping big-hearted humans transform their relationships at home and in the workplace.

In this conversation we discuss:
- The impact our words and actions can have on others.
- How to approach our relationships with more curiosity and less assumptions.
- Why clearly articulating our needs can lead to greater connection.
- And so much more.

Tune in to learn how to set your relationships up for success.

Starting the weekend with an ocean water swim has been game changing for me.

It’s cold.

It’s hard to get out of bed.

And…

It’s worth the discomfort.

The ocean is my happy place.

It’s where life makes sense.

It’s where I go to recalibrate my nervous system.

It’s where I feel like me.

I'm curious to know, where is your happy place?
